Aldersgate’s Kids Take-on Service
AKTS stands for Aldersgate’s Kids Take-on Service. AKTS is the 2011-2012 school year Sunday morning program for kindergarten to 12th grade kids. AKTS will meet from 9:40 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Sunday mornings in the Sunshine Room. We will focus on a different bible verse each month and not only learn how we can be God’s servants but we will be doing His work in the church, neighborhood, and community. Every Sunday during the month will focus on a different activity including: Craft Sunday, Activity Sunday, Food Sunday, and Service Sunday. We will also challenge each child to perform one service project during the school year outside of AKTS. They will be recognized on our “Service Snapshot” wall. We will have t-shirts recognizing our groups and ask the kids to wear them each Sunday.
