Welcome to Aldersgate Gardens, a native habitat garden certified by the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. Our public garden not only provides a beautiful and immersive experience in nature but also serves as a habitat for wildlife and a space for nature-based play for children. Aldersgate Gardens has teamed up with Chronolog to capture time lapse images of the changes going on at the garden. Aldersgate Garden is free and open to the public.
Chronolog: Capturing Nature’s Changes Over Time:
Chronolog is a unique service that enables visitors to photograph our garden and contribute to a dynamic time-lapse video. This innovative tool helps monitor environmental changes and promotes community science. Aldersgate Gardens has proudly participated in the Chronolog program since early 2023.
How Chronolog Works:
Capture an Image: Visitors can take a photo of our garden.
Upload the Image: The photo is uploaded to Chronolog.
Watch the Timelapse: The image is added to a time-lapse video showing the garden’s development over time.
