Aldersgate Gardens has a small pond on the west side of the garden. The pond has been a favorite spot for animals of all kinds as a source of water. This year we discovered that we have several frogs who now call Aldersgate Gardens home.
This impressive fellow is an American Bullfrog.
How did frogs show up on our landlocked pond? Frogs didn’t need an uber, the eggs more than likely were transferred to the pond on bird feet from another location.
