United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
Our purpose:
- To know God
- Experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
- Develop a creative, supportive fellowship
- Expand missions through participation in the ministries of the church
Meetings:
The second of each month at 1:30 P.M. at the church except for months that which may have other events as:
- An evening meeting
- A mission tour (which helps us become familiar with other mission organizations within the surrounding area which we may choose to support)
What We Do:
Meetings are a combination of worship, fellowship, learning and unit business. We support Aldersgate church by providing the Upper Room, organizing and serving funeral dinners and other social events. We sponsor the annual All Daughter Event. We prepare and lead the Women in Mission Sunday worship service each year. We have mission projects which we support. Some are the same projects and some are different each year. All women of the church are welcome to attend meetings, assist with projects and/or be a part of our circle of fellowship with any amount of time they are comfortable sharing with the group.
