Pastor Matt was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has lived in various parts of the Midwest, including Kansas City, KS; Boulder, CO; Estes Park, CO; and Fort Collins, CO. He moved back to Lincoln in the summer of 2002 and has predominantly resided here ever since. Matt graduated from Lincoln East High School in 2010. He earned his associate’s degree from Southeast Community College in 2016 and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019. Most recently, he graduated from seminary at Saint Paul School of Theology in 2025.

What would Aldersgate do without Stacey, our Administrative Assistant?! She does everything from fielding phone calls, creating and printing the weekly bulletins, sending/receiving faxes, doing computer work, creating and mailing the newsletter (and many other duties).
